A magical week filled with good food, beautiful views and a warm fire. The walks were windy so we enjoyed coming back and snuggling up by the fire. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our Christmas. The children loved it and can’t wait to come back. We can’t remember the last time we giggled so much. Thank you so much and God bless.

A very pleasant, relaxing and peaceful week in beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodation. It was nice to be here in a different season and the weather was great, October and all. Thanks Ann, pity we could not make it two weeks.

We loved the peace and tranquility of the house and the grounds.  Great views! We liked the beach at Seascale. You must try the ice cream @ Bailey Ground Ice Cream Parlour - it’s amazing! Good meat from Bewdley’s the Butchers @ Bootle.

Brookmans & Morgans & Gladys, August 2013

Great to be here again weather mixed but didn’t get wet. Dogs love the space and the beaches see you in Sept

First visit to this area of Lakeland. House and garden brilliant. Weather has been mostly fair. All walked to Pepperpot, fantastic views. Brown Cow great, Duck eggs from Bootle too. Whole area well worth the visit.

Fantastic week. Great house in stunning location. Garden was fabulous. Railway and zoo a highlight for the kids (6 & 2 years) Luckily we have had amazing weather all week. Thank you.

The Thompsons, Whitley Bay , April 2011

The kids have “thoroughly enjoyed everything!” Loved playing in the garden and on the swing. Weather has been kind to us and we have had some great days out. Lovely cottage with everything we needed. Would certainly come back again if we are visiting the Lakes.

Thanks  X

The Telfords and Doyles, May 2011
